Toys with a purpose
We conceive toys with a positive influence on children's personal development.
Our approach is global. Our ideas aim at stimulating the mind and the body equally through playing, thinking and feeling.
Together with their aromatic sprays, our plush Fear Hunters help you taming fears: the fear of darkness, monsters, evil, disease, ageing and disasters of all kinds.
|Oswald scares diseases off!
Oswald is not afraid of being ill for he sees it as an opportunity to take naps. And he enjoys going to the dentist.
He seconds Teddy in transmitting orders. He is the cheeky one of the band as he can spend a hell of a time playing tricks upon his friends.
Ginger hunts demons down!
Hammer is immune against disasters!
|Mummy is not scared of ageing!
Mummy is beautifully embalmed. Hence, she laughs at time erosion. He is shy and modest but she truly has many talents. She draws, paints and sculpts like a goddess, plays music with any kind of instrument and writes gorgeous poems.
|Zoombie gives monsters goosebumps!
Zoombie has a good laugh when he sees a monster. But monsters, they freak the hell out at his sight. He is the strong one, tireless like his moral that nothing can scratch. As he nibbles anytime he can, his friends call him puffy. So, he says that muscles needs adequate feeding.
|Skully is not afraid of the dark!
Skully is nothing but happy when it is all dark. And in his presence, creepy creatures keep very quiet. He is the goofie one. He makes many mistakes and has a bad habit to provoking blunders. He loves jokes and cracking a snack, for he surely is an unforgivable glutton.
|Teddy has no fear!
Theo Bear, a.k.a. Teddy, is absolutely fearless! He is the group leader. He is smart, very creative and he equally shares his time between games and naps. He enjoys helping others out of a bad situation. Also, he falls for chocolate and he practices ‘extreme sports’.
History of a creation
Fear Hunters have three fathers: Max, Shaya and their Dad.
One day, Max asked his grandmother to shape one of his drawings into real stuff. The result was an offbeat triangular head, which his grandma assembled with a piece of fabric, thread, wool, cotton and a button.
Max is an idealist and a humanist with a strong temper inherited from his Persian ancestors. He has a great sense of family. He speaks French, Farsi and English. He likes Kendo, literature, cinema, chess Warhammers, games.
Max created Oswald, Skully and Zoombie.
| Shaya, 11
Shaya is very cheeky, although his Chinese astrological sign is the dragon and not the Monkey. He is full of imagination and spends a lot of time finding new ideas and building up toys. He practices kendo and he speaks French, Farsi and English.
Shaya created Ginger, Hammer and Mummy.
Gauthier is a born storyteller. Like most of his compatriots, he fell in the comics’ cooking-pot at birth. Impassioned with the 9th art and cinema, he found in Fear Hunters a dreamful opportunity to express his creativity while having fun with his kids.
Gauthier created Teddy Bear and he assisted with all others.
Playful ideas for the wellbeing
Fear Hunters are a family of 7 plush-toys with attitude and with an educative purpose. They look different and there are many reasons for their particular appearance:
Children know best
Fear Hunters were originally designed and conceived by two children who made drawings of strange little monsters with a great heart and positive powers. During the whole making process, they worked together with adults in order to come up with a product based upon a creative and collaborative approach.
Managing fears with plush toys
Fear hunters can help children managing fears. Fearless characters will allow them recognizing their fears, accepting them and buildng up self-confidence.
Wellbeing and emotional development
Aromatic sprays are ideal sensory complements to plush toys. Applied on the child's favourite plush, on a pillow, on bed linnen or on a piece of cloth, they can bring physical and psychological comfort at bedtime, in situations of stress or at anytime.
